Education: Mikolaj Kopernik University in Torun, Faculty of Fine Arts, Conservation of Works of Art. Diploma in 1976. Between 1976 - 1983 teacher at her alma mater. 1985 - 1987 studied at H. Heine University in Dusseldorf, faculties: German Philology, English Philology. Participated in solo and group shows.

New show by Ewa Pszczelny is titled „Umierając wdzięczą się” [They die coqueting]. It is already a second presentation of her works in Green Gallery. The first one „Światłoczułość” [Photosensitivity] was an exceptional effort for the artist. The theme was flowers – cut, vase type in a exceptional photosensitivity phase. The beauty of photographs is stressed with the acrylic glass framing. Current exhibition is a thematic countinuation of the former one. The new series seems to be more mature. From the darkness of flowery agony emerges even more beautiful photosensitivity. Presented series only seemingly concerns dying. It is more about finding the power of creation beauty from ugliness.
