Education: Artistic and Pedagogical Faculty at Silesian University, branch in Cieszyn, studios of Drawing and Painting run by Professor Jerzy Wronski, Professor Norbert Witek. Diploma in 1979 in the painting studio run by Professor Norbert Witek. In 1997 he got 1st stage qualifications in the field of photography in the Cinematography and Television Production Department at the Leon Schiller’s National Higher School of Film, Television and Theatre in Łódź. In 2000 he received the IInd stage qualifications in film art, in the field of artistic photography at the same school. W 2008 he became the Professor of film arts. He practises photography and painting. Since 1981 he has been working as an educator. He is the director of the Photography Studio at the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Artistic Creation at Art Department of Silesian University in Cieszyn and also the photography studio at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice. He is a member of the Association of Polish Art Photographers.
