„Forgotten Germany in 3D”
The exhibition in Germany presents Germany at the turn on 1950s and 1960s. 48 stereoscope photographs reveal the architecture of the biggest German cities in the after-war Germany: Berlin, Dresden, Munich, but also plenty of magnificent landscapes from the sleepy towns of Rhineland-Palatinate, the views from the Alps as if taken from the Grimm brothers stories. The photographs present scenes from the lives of the inhabitants of the region, among them image of funny old Trabants or women dresses according to the then fashion trends. The photographs are part of the Fotoplastikon’s collection and will be displayed five days a week (excluding Tuesdays and Sundays).
