Graduated from Photography Academy in Warsaw, currently works at PWSFTViT in Lodz.
The Housing estate "Za Żelazną Bramą" was built in 1960s and the was one of the exclusive spots in Warsaw. Currently the first inhabitants are only a margin of registered dwellers. There are more students, immigrants and newcomers, who are searching for the luck in the Polish capital, living at Graniczna now. Patryk Karbowski presents stories of individual people who trustem him, opened before him and told their stories showing the diversity hidden in the grey concrete cube.

Graduated from the Photography College in Wroclaw, currently completing studies in the Institute of Creative Photography in Opava. He works in the field of advertising design. Author of several individual and group exhibitions, publications on photography and theory of photography. Cofounder and editor of the magazine on documental photography „5klatek”.
