PhD at PWSFTViT in Lodz, faculty: film arts (2009). Graduated from the Graphic Departament at National School of Plastic Arts in Lodz, diploma in graphics – lithography (1995) and the Cintematography Department at PWSFTViT, faculty: animated films and special effects, PWSFTViT, Lodz (1999). Since 1998 an assistant in the Department of Animated Films at PWSFTViT, Lodz. She conducts workshops on animated films in art. Schoold in Sweden, Finland and Italy. Kasia Kryńska (born 1972)
“Two on four”
Graduated from the Architecture Departament at University of Technology in Warsaw (1999) and from European Academy of Photography (2005). Architect, designer and photographer, lives and works in Warsaw. Enthusiast for analogue photography, works with Rolleiflex, Hasselblad and Holga cameras. In 2003 she exhibited in the Netherlands Her works titled „Kobiety w Hadze i w Warszawie” [“Women in the Hague and in Warsaw”]. In 2009 inPortugal took place the show of her slides „Czas zanikania” [“Time of disappearing”] and „Bez rutyny” [“No routine”]. At the beginning of 2010 she won an international photo contest 5th Annual Black&White Spider Awards in the category Still Life. Currently her series of documental photographs „Przejście”[„Transition”] is a part o fan intermedia project „The Promised City“, devoted to the issue of searching for happiness in contemporary cities such as Berlin, Warsaw or Mumbai.
